What is DAIV?

What DAIV does for Australian construction, from contract review before you sign to administration of the live job.
DAIV is a contract administration platform for Australian construction. It reviews contracts before you sign them, and administers them once the job is live, covering variations, extensions of time, notices and time bars.
Pre-Execution
Contract reviews take time, depend on who's doing them, and onerous clauses or departures from your positions get missed until you're locked in. DAIV checks every contract against your own positions, so reviews are faster and more consistent, and you know what to push back on before you sign.
Your organisation sets Contract Benchmarks, the positions it will accept. Receiving positions are for contracts sent to you, and Issuing positions are for contracts you send out. Mark a benchmark Preferred position only when that position is non-negotiable. Upload a contract and DAIV scans it against your receiving positions, flagging risks and departures, suggesting amendments, and checking the contract for consistency. Where Standard clauses is turned on, reviewers can drop your own wording into an amendment. Reviewers decide each finding. The Departures Schedule lists those proposed amendments to send to the other party. Approval of the review is a later step inside your organisation.

Post-Execution
On a live job, variations and delays get buried in diaries and emails, and a missed time bar can cost you the claim. DAIV picks them up from the diary and directions, and steps your team through getting the notice and claim out on time, with the evidence attached.
A project holds the head contract and its subcontracts. Once the agents on the head contract are approved, they watch the office diary, the site diary and directions, and suggest likely variations and extensions of time. Someone on your team reviews a suggestion and starts the workflow: Validate and Notify, Price (including quote requests), Consolidate, Submit and Assess. Your team approves each step. Overview lists obligations that are due. Insurance certificates are kept on the project, and cover required by the head contract is flagged. If an extension of time may be past its time bar, you see that before you submit.

Your organisation
An organisation can have Pre-Execution, Post-Execution, or both. An area that is not turned on appears greyed out in the sidebar. Your account manager can turn it on.
The name above the sidebar is your organisation, and the contracts, projects and people you see belong to it. Select the name to switch if you belong to more than one.
